Today’s reading is 2 Timothy 4 and Titus 1.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

We are saved by grace. That is sure. But let us never think that means the Christian walk is easy or simple. It is hard at times. It is a fight and a race. It takes endurance, strength, discipline. Grace doesn’t mean the way won’t be hard sometimes, even painful, but it does mean God runs and fights with us, carrying us into the tenth round and to the finish line. I don’t know what you’re facing today, but stick with God, He’ll carry you through.
