Today’s reading is Acts 24-25.
The Way. If someone were to ask you how you worship God, would you ever respond as Paul did? According to The Way? Do you see yourself as part of The Way? Do you see yourself as on The Way? Do you ever think of Christ’s church as The Way? Would it bother you to see a church building with a sign that simply said The Way? Remember, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). His path is the the way that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14). Don’t be ashamed or afraid of The Way; be on it, be in it, and rejoice that it leads to life.

A Word for Our Kids
Hey kids, I know you must think it is awful that God has let Paul be arrested, thrown into prison, and sit there for multiple years while Felix and Festus fiddle around with the Jews. In our modern day, we think everything should be easy and entertaining. So, when negative and harsh things happen, especially to Christians, we think something must be wrong with God and His world. But pay attention to what is happening in these accounts. The gospel is being presented again and again and again. Not only that, it is being presented to kings, governors, and leaders of men. Man brought sin into the world, so there is going to be suffering and hardship. The amazing thing is that God can redeem that suffering and hardship, using it for His and our glory. Don’t get mad at God when you suffer; rather, let Him redeem it and use it in ways you could never imagine. Then thank God for letting you be part of His plan.
