Today’s reading is Romans 16 and 1 Timothy 1.

I know many days are great. But some are a struggle. I know sometimes you wonder if you’re going to make it. Sometimes you wonder if you can bear up another day under the onslaught of the devil. Sometimes you wonder if the trials are ever going to stop. Just remember, “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” So, keep hanging on. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.”

Tomorrow’s reading is 1 Timothy 2-3.

A Word for Our Kids

Hey kids, did you see all those people Paul mentioned at the end of Romans, both men and women? Did you pick up that they were working hard in the kingdom of Christ, just like Paul was? Sometimes it is easy to look back and think Paul was the only one doing any work. Not so. The kingdom had spread far and wide and even in Rome, a place Paul had not yet traveled when he wrote this letter, there were faithful Christians serving God, doing the work, spreading the kingdom. You don’t have to be a Paul to serve the Lord. If they could do it, you can do it. Keep it up.
