Today’s reading is Genesis 43-44.

Everyone goes through times of famine. In those times, especially if they linger, we can believe God has forgotten us. However, often, as we see with Israel and his family, it is then when God is actually preparing us for something great. When you are facing the famine, focus your faith on God. He will bring you through. You will be amazed at the blessings on the other side.

Tomorrow’s reading is Genesis 45-46.

A Word for Our Kids

Hey kids, I hope you caught what I just shared with your parents. God has never promised every day of your life is going to seem wonderful. However, He has promised to make everything work out for good when you love Him. Don’t turn your back on God in the tough days. Rather, that is when you need to draw even closer to Him. Then be amazed at what He accomplishes in your life.
